Ashleigh Moreland

Ashleigh is a highly skilled and compassionate counsellor with extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health. For the past five years, she has worked as a school counsellor in Sydney, specialising in therapeutic support for children and the active engagement of families to achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes.

Her natural ability to quickly build rapport with both children and parents has been a defining strength throughout her career.

As a neurodivergent professional diagnosed with ADHD, and growing up in a neurodiverse family, Ashleigh brings a unique, empathetic perspective to her work.

Her personal and professional experiences give her a deep understanding of the challenges families face, particularly in navigating the intersection of gender and neurodiversity.

Ashleigh holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology, a Master of Counselling, and a Master of Social Work (Qualifying), graduating Dux of her cohort.

She completed her social work placement with the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, where she strengthened her trauma-informed practice and gained valuable experience working with Indigenous communities.
